Thanks. ________________________________ From: Mauck, Sheri Sent: Monday, October 25, 2004 4:05 PM To: Council of Business Officers Subject: Loyalty Oath Self-audit OSF is requiring a self-audit of compliance with statute regarding certification of employee loyalty oaths. The State Regents office has been asked to coordinate the responses for the institutions so we are asking that you verify the compliance of your institution by using the attached form (page 3) stating either that (1.) you are in compliance or (2.) that you cannot currently verify compliance but that you will be in compliance by December 15, 2004. Payroll officers are required to certify that these oaths are on file each time they authorize the monthly payrolls. The required loyalty oaths can be found at the Secretary of State's website. Http://www.sos.state.ok.us There are two separate oaths for public officers. All other state employees are required to sign the "Loyalty Oath" only and maintained in their personnel file. It appears to us that only Regents are officers, required to file the Constitutional oath with the Secretary of State, based on the definition quoted by OSF from the Attorney General Opinion." If your response is that you cannot currently verify compliance you will be required to re-submit this audit form once the verification process has been completed. The responses are due back to us by fax by November 11th. 405-225-9230. Please send your response to the attention of Sheri Mauck. Thanks. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... You must designate an individual or individuals on your campus to complete the direct deposit enrollment process for your employees on the OPM system. The direct deposit employee enrollment process is being decentralized so your agency will have access to the OPM system once you have returned the attached security forms. Beginning January 1, 2005, your agency will log into the direct deposit system and enter all new employees rather than mailing enrollment forms to OPM for entry. The persons designated must attend a training session on either December 9 or December 10th. There are two sessions scheduled on each of those dates. Please respond directly to OPM as requested in the attached memo with the security authorizations and work with their staff to be sure that Ids and passwords are assigned prior to December 9th. Please be sure that your payroll office or human resources offices are prepared for this change in procedure. Thanks. ________________________________ From: Janet Anderson [mailto:Janet.Anderson at opm.state.ok.us] On Behalf Of Oscar Jackson Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 1:35 PM Subject: All Appointing Authorities Memorandum OPM 04-41 - Decentralization of Direct Deposit TO: ALL APPOINTING AUTHORITIES Attached is All Appointing Authorities Memorandum OPM 04-41 regarding Decentralization of Direct Deposit.
