[Cobo] (1) Budget Training and (2) Planning for FY08

(1) The Office of State Finance has established a budget training date
specifically for Higher Education institutions.  The date is Tuesday,
March 6, 2007, and will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm.    Please send me
the names and email addresses of any who want to register by Friday,
March 2nd

 

 

WHAT:             P124 CORE Budget Course

                  4545 North Lincoln Blvd., Suite 297

 

If you have personnel that need to be trained or have some that would
like a refresher course this course is designed for you.

 

All persons wishing to have a password established for the CORE Budget
System must first attend training.  I have attached the link below to
the budget access form that must be completed and returned directly to
the CORE office to authorize ID/password establishments.  You are budget
preparers and should check that box on the form.

(2)  Please also take the time to review your current department listing
of capital (91) projects.  OSF will be publishing the new FY08 models
soon and will simply list all departments in your current models unless
we can delete inactivate projects.  This is important in simplifying the
process, so please review your list and send me an email with those
departments that are no longer being used or won't be used in FY08 by
March 16, 2007.
