As you will remember this process was suspended until after the legislative session and budget process. We are now ready to move forward. Institutions are being asked to complete an application form and return to Victoria Baker by August 15, 2016, in order to build a conversion schedule over the next several months by institution. Please note that institutions that house their banking data at the State Treasurer will require additional planning and development at the state level, so those institutions will be toward the later part of the conversion schedule. The changes implemented allow additional control over employee banking used for reimbursements. Each Higher Ed agency will now have the ability to create a unique agency specific address/location which would only be able to be added or modified by their agency. OUHSC is currently testing the new process and it will be in effect in July. Additional planning and development is also in process for the agencies maintaining their employee banking information with the Office of State Treasurer. Communications and instructions for these agencies will be issued at a later date. These agencies should complete the steps to prepare their vendor file, but will be scheduled for conversion after the development of their employee EFT interface process has been completed. Attached you will find the completed Higher Education Vendor File Conversion Manual.
