a pilot program to make tuition waivers available for all
qualified high school seniors for fall 2005 and spring
2006. All State System institutions will participate in
the pilot program. </SPAN><SPAN

reimbursement to institutions at the May 2006 meeting will mirror the State
Regents’ National Guard reimbursement methodology:<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>institutions must absorb a minimum
number of credit hours with full reimbursement for all hours above the
minimum.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The minimum number
is proportional to the total enrollment of the institution, with a range
of 300 to 750 credit hours.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Funds for reimbursement for FY06 activity will come from FY07
appropriations (consistent with State Regents’ National Guard and Teacher
Residency existing reimbursement methodology). </SPAN><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
