<p class="Default"><a name="body"></a>Following up on discussions that I have had with Secretary of Education and Workforce Development Natalie Shirley regarding the Governor’s Executive Order 2015-06, dated February 6, 2015, please find attached a memo dated
today from Secretary Shirley confirming the Governor’s intention that this Executive Order
<b><u>does not apply</u></b> to the Oklahoma higher education system, including the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, all institutions, all constituent agencies and the higher education centers.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="Default">Secretary Shirley has been very helpful in this process to clarify that the Governor’s Executive Order does not apply to higher education.<o:p></o:p></p>
