<p class="MsoNormal"><a name="body"></a>As we discussed during our Council of Presidents meeting on Wednesday, June 3, at their meeting on May 29, the State Regents approved a two-year pilot program to increase the resident tuition waiver cap from 3.5% on an
institution’s total E&G – Part I budget to a maximum dollar threshold of 5% of the total E&G – Part I budget.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The pilot program begins with the Fall 2020 semester and will cover the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years.
