Hi everyone,



It’s time for COIL officer elections (finally)! Please see the candidate bios below as well as the link to the proposed changes to the bylaws, which have been available for comment over the last month. No comments were received.

·         Chair-Elect

Holly Luetkenhaus is the First Year Experience Librarian at Oklahoma State University and holds an MS in Library Science and an MA in English. Her research interests include information literacy and intersectional studies, fan studies, and 19th century literature. She has presented at the Association of College and Research Libraries’ Conference, Library Instruction West, and the Annual Conference on the First Year Experience about her work in teaching information literacy skills to first-year students and incorporating critical pedagogy into library instruction.



·         Secretary

Calantha Tillotson is the Instructional Services Librarian at East Central University’s Linscheid Library. In this capacity, she coordinates reference services, as well as information literacy instruction and assessment. In addition, she is honored to serve as the library liaison to the School of Business, English & Languages Department, and Professional Programs in Human Services Department. She received her BA in English Literature from Friends University and her MLIS from the University of Oklahoma. She has presented at various state, regional, and national conferences, as well as co-authored a chapter titled "Reverse Engineering the News" to be published in ACRL's upcoming Critical Thinking about Sources Cookbook.



·         Webmaster (only valid if changes to bylaws are passed)

Cristina Colquhoun is the Instructional Designer for the Edmon Low Library at Oklahoma State University. She has experience as a teacher, curriculum specialist, trainer, and instructional designer, and holds a Master’s of Science in Educational Technology. She currently uses her skill set to design information literacy instruction and tutorials for undergraduate students, as well as provide training for library liaisons in effective teaching methodologies. She is also currently the co-webmaster for the New Literacies Alliance.
