We're asking *library staff in all types of Oklahoma libraries* to take a survey about their experiences with patrons who need reference for civil legal issues. Libraries are a cost-effective way for many Americans to research legal problems they may have. It's important to understand that librarians do not give legal advice, but librarians are still valuable sources of, and finders of, important information. *Your participation will influence the development of resources and training for library staff serving patrons who lack legal representation.* Please ask your reference librarians to participate in the survey.
