<p>I am writing to resign my position of Chair-elect. I am sorry for putting you in the position of needing to replace me with short notice. I hope you can add Chair to the upcoming election roster. There are several reasons for my decision, especially, concern
about lack of time in the coming year. I have enjoyed working with the group this year, and plan to continue to attend meetings when I can get away.</p>
