Hi everyone,

I was just notified by one of our diligent IR colleagues (Nancy Helsper)
that the Asian categories throughout the profile were inadvertently left
off of both the code book and the form.  I have updated the code book (and
it is reattached) with the additions.  I have also update the online form
submission (
http://ow.ly/rFr3t). The original form link should remain unchanged.  The
numbers throughout both the code book and the form have been updated to
reflect these additions.

Sorry for the inconvenience.  If you notice any other inadvertent
omissions, have any questions, or other ideas, please send them my way.

Hi everyone,

There has been a few additional questions raised about metrics within the
collection.  Here are the updates:

   - The race/ethnicity metric for number of BA degrees for Native
   American/ Alaskan Native was missing. - It has been added to the code book
   (new number 67 and all subsequent have been moved down one.)
   - There was a question related to all of the BA degrees (both
   race/ethnicity & majors) of should this include all of the major 1's or all
   majors (including double majors).  I have talked with Bill Spellman and
   Lynn Boyce regarding this issue.  We decided to include only major 1 within
   IPEDS.  (New numbers 63 to 77)

The code book and the web form have been updated.  The new code book is
reattached and the updated web link remains the same (
http://ow.ly/rFr3t).

A special thank you to Sara Maene from Shepherd for bringing up these
questions.

Nancy just brought up a new addendum to section H (the financial aid
section) that was incorrectly labeled as 11-12 final data and it should be
12-13 final.  I have reattached the Excel document to reflect these
changes.   The web form remains unchanged.

Thanks Nancy for catching that issue.  Sorry for an additional bump as we
work through these revisions within this process and thank you for your

I'm continuing my work on the COPLAC data exchange.  I'm confused about
element numbers 121-149 that indicate a "Timeframe" of 2011-12 Final.  The
2013-14 CDS says the figures in Section H are for 2012-13.  Which year did
you intend?
