[COPLAC-IR] FW: participation in NSSE and benchmarks

USAO is moving from a yearly administration to an alternating year schedule.
This next NSSE administration will be the first one we skip in a while. We
moved in this direction primarily to help reduce survey fatigue.

HI!

 

I have a couple of questions for the list serve today.

 

1.       I know as a consortium we participate in the NSSE administration
every other year (even numbered years).  However, do any COPLAC schools
administer the NSSE every year?

2.       I know from our VPAA that Evergreen State uses the five NSSE
benchmarks of effective educational practice and compares them to other
institutions (including COPLAC). Are any other COPLAC institutions doing
similar comparisons with NSSE or other instruments that you wouldn't mind
sharing with me what you are doing?
