Reminder for the COPLAC data profile.

It also came to my attention that the AAUP will not release their salary data until April 15, so if you are waiting on that to complete the survey just get it in as soon as you can.

I am much more flexible than IPEDS.

Subject: 2015-16 COPLAC Date Profile

Dear COPLAC Institutional Research Colleagues,

I will be taking over the collection of the COPLAC data profile.  The process and form should be exactly the same as last year.

Please submit all of the requested data that you will provide in a single sitting, as the Google form in unable to allow you to log out and back in to complete it.  It will not allow you to go back in multiple times.  It is essentially set up like a survey. As a result of that, I encourage you to fill out the information in the Excel spreadsheet then enter the information into the Google form.

Please submit the COPLAC data profile data by April 13th.  Here is the link for the form: http://goo.gl/forms/7nuwM1RJJf

Below is the tentative schedule of the process.

COPLAC Data Profile Calendar 2015-16

February 2 - Send Google Form and Excel Codebook to institutions

April 6th- IPEDS Spring Collection Closes

April 13nd - COPLAC Data Profile is due from institutions

May 20th -  Send draft profile to institutions (will be sent earlier if possible)

May 27nd (or one week after the draft is sent out, whichever is earlier.) - Institutions review draft and provide updates or confirmation of valid data.

June 8- Final Draft sent to Bill Spellman

TBD after final draft is distributed - feedback on process and metrics?
