[COPLAC-IR] teaching load

Hi,

UW-Superior has a 12 credit (4-course) requirement for each semester.  Department chairs are also given a one-course release.  A few departments receive a two-course release.

A normal load for faculty at The University of Virginia's College at Wise is 4 courses for each semester (fall and spring).  Department chairs are awarded a one-course reduction per year.

New College of Florida use 4-1-4 academic calendar.  For fall and spring term (4 month each), faculty teach 2 regular courses + tutorials, independent reading, and thesis.  Faculty teach independent study project in the January term (only last for one month).
