programs at UMF do currently have a foreign language requirement, but it is
waived when the student has two years of foreign language in high school. <span style=""> </span>Given that two-years of a foreign language in
high school is also an admission requirement, the UMF foreign language
requirement only affects a limited number of students. Some majors (English, <span style=""> </span>Philosophy/Religion and International Studies)
