There's actually a box on the FAFSA for students in that situation. If she qualifies as "homeless" at your school, she can mark that box and doesn't have to use anyone's information but her own.   She may later have to get a letter from your school as documentation to verify this, but if it's legit, she can qualify for considerable grants and aid.
