Our NHS students do academic tutoring for fellow students who need some extra help.  They are required to earn tutoring points as part of NHS so it helps both parties.

Our Teen Advisory Board also started a "big sibs" program this year.  Seniors act as mentors to new freshmen in their advisory classes.  Our advisory classes are mixed grades (9-12) and students stay with that same advisory class/teacher all four years.  The older kids are assigned to freshmen and they are supposed to form a relationship, answer questions, give advice about clubs and activities to get involved with, etc.

I am willing to travel to a school to see it in action or how others use it, attend workshops, etc.

We use google in Hennessey.  I know how to use some things and I can show you if you are going to Quartz.   We really didn't have much training but I've picked up some things mostly by trial & error.  I really like being able to share documents with google drive.  It works well for things like testing schedules and remediation lists because it can be kept up to date as it changes.   Also is nice for kids to be able to share with me documents, scholarship essays, etc.   There is probably a lot more I could learn though!

The only bad thing is it does not interface well with Apple phones or iPads.

Our elementary uses Study Island for benchmark tests. I think they 3 different tests per subject.

Our school has used both NWEA MAP assessments for pre/post & benchmark as
well as STAR 360.  We found STAR 360 to be easier to use and takes less time
that the MAP assessments, so we are only using STAR this year.  Both give
you a wide range of reports.
