There is a booklet from Channing Bete I like to use called Sad Hug, Mad Hug, Happy Hug. It is very short but communicates death, common traditions, and feelings.

Subject: [Counselors] Grief Book

We have had 2 middle school students recently loose a parent. What books, ideas or materials have you used that is good for them to have and read or to go through with them? I have a few things but am always looking to see if there is something else counselors use with their students.
Thank you,
Ginger
