Good afternoon,
I do hope that everyone was able to relax a bit over spring break and enjoy time with family!  I am glad to have you back!  The rest of the year is goin to fly, so hang on!

Our Counselor Summer Institute registration is now open and ready for you to register.  It is July 11-14 at Quartz Mountain Lodge near Lone Wolf.  Here is the link for Quartz: http://www.quartzmountainresort.com/area-recreation.php

Please make sure that you mark it on your calendar if you plan to attend.  If you register and you cannot attend, please let me know as soon as possible.  We don't want to waste tax payer dollars!

Yes, it will be FREE lodging and meals for YOU this summer, yay!

At the summer institute, we will have speakers regarding legislation, school laws and rules, financial aid, scholarships, FAFSA changes, round table discussions and more, plus a lot of laughter and sharing!
(I am working on finding speakers to help you and your students regarding cutters and suicide.)  I'll send out an agenda in May.

We plan to start the institute around 4:30 on Monday, July 11, to give you travel time during the day.  We will end on Thursday, July 14 around noon.  Monday will be the only day that we will go until 5:00, Tuesday and Wednesday we will end around 4:00-4:30.  Your evenings will be free to relax, do whatever you would like, or join us on the patio.

Yes, you have attended a retreat sometime between 2009 and the present, so yes you are alumni and yes you are invited!
Registration closes June 30.

I do hope that you can attend!  It is a retreat, just more counselors (so more sharing best practices) and longer time, and because of you, we have a lot of fun!
