Tommy Leach sent an email just after her monthly counselor newsletter went out a couple of months ago.  You could look on her subsequent counselor newsletters or email her about where she found it.  She sent a link to a blog from a counselor that uses one mounted to a stand so that the tablet cannot "walk-off" with a student.  ​

There was an article about it in one of Tommi Leach's newsletters and then a breakout session this spring at the Counselor's only conference. Both gave examples.

Is there someone that uses an iPad at the counselor's door for students to "login" on a google form? I heard about that somewhere and didn't want to reinvent the wheel so to speak. It's for tracking data such as who did you see that day, what service did you provide, was the service counseling related, etc. I'm going to try to be more data driven next year and I wanted to mess around with it before next year.
