Have you explored your local technology center course offerings? There are short term programs all the way up to full time programs with certifications in a wide array of industries. You can visit here: https://www.okcareertech.org/about/careertech-system/career-programs/career-programs-guide and download the program guide. It will tell you which programs are offered at every state technical school. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Counselors] Needing Traumatic Brain Injured resources
I am looking for after high school suggestions for a student with a traumatic brain injury. She is very smart but processes very differently sometimes and she has physical limitations. We are kind of at a loss of what options she has after high school, college is probably too much for her but she most definitely has more abilities then working at a sheltered workshop/group home kind of setting. Any suggestions/programs would be great! Thanks in advanced!
