[Counselors] Question

My library media specialist and I work together as co-sponsors (with our principal) on a Historical Book Club.  We ready and study about particular themes/time periods/events and then, in the summer, travel to those locations to experience things first-hand.

Beggs - I am not familiar with the "one school, one book" program.... Could you elaborate?

Jay - I love the book (and now movie) Wonder by R.J. Palacio


Here at Beggs Middle School we are going to start a one school one book program through the library and she has asked me (counselor) to join in to help the communication, parental involvement aspect. So my suggestion is to take what you are already doing and collaborate! Or take simple ideas such as this, one school one book, to encourage you parents, students, and community to work together!
