However, it is mainly common sense. I would use the OPTE: PK-8 (075) Secrets Study Guide: CEOE Exam Review for the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators / Oklahoma Professional Teaching Examination for a study guide. I used similar reviews for my Elementary Test. Hope this helps! I hope you are taking time out for YOU! There have been questions regarding what goes on a student's transcript regarding the assessments. I contacted the Deputy Superintendent of Assessment & Accountability regarding this question. The following italicized statements are from the School Law Book, http://sde.ok.gov/sde/sites/ok.gov.sde/files/2017 School Law Book.pdf, Section 1236. Test for Students - Norm-Referenced - Writing Assessment - Criterion - Referenced. The statements in red are from SDE. Beginning on page 788: G. In order to provide an indication of the levels of competency attained by the student in a permanent record for potential future employers and institutions of higher education, school districts shall report on the high school transcript of the student the highest-achieved score on the assessment or assessments included in the statewide student assessment system adopted by the Board pursuant to subsection A of this subsection and any business- and industry-recognized endorsements attained. 3. For students who start the ninth grade prior to or during the 2016-2017 school year, school districts shall adopt a plan that establishes the assessment or assessments those students are required to take in order to graduate from a public high school with a standard diploma. The plan may also include any or all of the other high school graduation requirements adopted by the Board pursuant to Section 5 of this act that those students will be required to meet in order to graduate from a public high school with a standard diploma. As stated above (G.), the grade 11 ACT or SAT score shall (must be) included on the transcript. All other ACT/SAT scores are optional. Again, it is required-Grade 11 CCRA (ACT or SAT) scores for ELA and Math (there will only be one state assessment score unless students repeat the 11th grade) Optional-all other ACT/SAT scores. The 10th grade suite of assessments may be included if it has been determined by the local board that students had to take those assessments in order to graduate (ยง70-1210.508.F.3) Thank you and have a great day!
