If I can't get them all into one class by themselves I put them in the smallest class and my Algebra I teacher teachers a split class half the class doing first sem and half the class doing sec sem We put them in our Alt Ed for Credit Recovery at the same time enrolling them in the 2nd semester of that course, so they basically lose an elective and take both semesters of that course at the same time. We have had pretty good luck with it. The only other alternative we give them is to complete the 2nd semester and enroll the following year in the first semester again in that classroom setting, so they get the instruction. Teachers and Jr High students (a hard bunch to impress) were very inspired by him and he had a good rapport with the audience. http://reggiedabbsonline.com/ Laymon Hicks is a great motivational speaker. He has a great story about overcoming life challenges, perseverance, determination and success. My students 5th - 12th grade loved it! http://www.laymonhicks.com/youth-motivational-speaker/ Connie Miller Texhoma From: Counselors [mailto:counselors-bounces at lists.onenet.net] On Behalf Of OSRHEStudent Prep PK-12 Counselor Discussion Board Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2019 8:49 AM To: counselors at lists.onenet.net Subject: [Counselors] Guest Speakers I am searching for a speaker that talks "life".
