The curriculum is designed for middle/junior high school or high school students with leadership at its core. Lead Oklahoma teaches students about becoming a leader, identifying their own personality styles and strengths, benefits of getting a college education, cooperating with others and time management. Oklahoma students also practice community engagement and service learning. The students in Lead Oklahoma are encouraged to have a little buddy to mentor. A special emphasis on the advantages of teaching and being a teacher are also included in the course.
