[Counselors] FW: Tribal codes

[OSRHEStudent Prep PK-12 Counselor Discussion Board]

We do not use MAS, we use Infinite Campus, but we have a 3 character or less code for all the tribes we enter.
I have attached the code and abbreviation used in our system.

Your district can determine the 3 letter code you want to use.  It is an additional way for you to group data when doing data object merge, and is

very helpful if you have a JOM program.

I have always just used the following abbreviations.  I know it's not a comprehensive list but it's all I've ever had to use.

CHO- Choctaw

CHI- Chickasaw

CHE- Cherokee

CRE-Creek

SEM- Seminole

MCH-Mississippi Choctaw

Who uses MAS / Wengage for your SIS. Does anyone know the 3 character tribe codes?

Demographic - Personal Info tab - Tribe (it only allows 3 characters).



I have looked in MAS documentation and on OSDE, and I haven't been able to find it.
