We have used Edgenuity for the past five years for any foreign language at Deer Creek- Lamont High School.

PreK-12 Counselor

Edgenuity has an option for NCAA courses. We use their platform for all our virtual classes at the secondary level. Our students wishing to stay NCAA eligible must pay additional fees for those courses, though. The NCAA courses are completely managed by Edgenuity and delivered by teachers outside of our school district. Non-NCAA courses are managed by our faculty & staff.

I’m not 100% positive, but I think CTRL (part of Edgenuity) is NCAA approved. You might contact Edgenuity.

Redlands offers a great online Spanish, also check with Edmentum...that is the online vendor we use.

We do our Spanish via ZOOM with Rider Classroom Spanish. He contracts with certified Spanish Teachers around the country. I know there are several
smaller schools that hire his company for Spanish.

KSU offers SVS Spanish....we used it for a few years when there wasn’t a certified teacher available.

Northwestern OK State University has a person that was possibly going to do Spanish I and II, concurrently. Might be worth a phone call or message me and I can give you a person to notify.

We are having a terrible time finding a Spanish teacher. We are now looking at options for online Spanish. Are there any schools currently using an online Spanish option that has been approved by the NCAA? If yes, can they please share the name of the program?

Thank you.
