[Counselors] Placement Test and Google Enrollment Forms

Placement Test: For the first time I have a kid that has not been in school for a while....or home schooled.  We need to do a placement test to make sure that the student is able to handle age appropriate work.  What placement test do you use for middle school and high school?  Thank you so much for the information.

We do STAR reading and STAR math. This is not the most reliable, but gives
a baseline.


Google Enrollment: Who out there uses Google enrollment forms or any form of a digital enrollment form?

Wyandotte MS and HS uses a google form for enrollment. We provide them with a copy of their transcript, graduation checklist, and help them fill out their schedules when necessary. I already have a checklist on file that I update each semester. So, I know if they are choosing appropriate courses when I enroll them.  :) The process mainly aids in giving them a sense of ownership but, also, helps us with their elective choices. We are a small school and don't have many courses in the way of electives.
