[Counselors] Graduating Early Responses #2

[OSRHEStudent Prep PK-12 Counselor Discussion Board]

Hey!
I have a freshman who would like to skip a grade and graduate a year early. I have never dealt with this before, I was wondering if any other counselors had and what are the rules on this?


  *   Our school board has a policy about early graduation, you might want to check with your board policies.


  *   Check with SDE if you have any specific questions. This is a snippet related to reclassification for lacking credits, but it has some good information regarding skipping a grade level.
