Looking for a company who will put one together, page layout and everything. * We use Tom Quaid from NRP but we have a yearbook class and teacher and they put it all together with his program and help! If that is what you need I can get his info for you! I don't think that is what you are looking for though! tangee.cayton at bcpsd.org * We use Josten's. ckingfisher at salinawildcats.org -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm curious if other schools have done this. And what items have been beneficial to have in your containers? I have been in schools that have done this and had a "calm down corner. "Fidgets are always a good idea like the bubble popper, these are in a shape like a rainbow or a dolphin, and the "bubbles are a rubbery material the student can pop in and out. Marbles in mesh are great also, the student can push it back and forth in the enclosed mesh. Bubble timers with different colored liquids are also great. If you need any more ideas let me know; my school was able to fund a DonorsChoose calm down room with a grant. They can always substitute with other cores. I have had students who took two years of technology which don't count, but they picked up an extra science or math or any other core area....yes, it is easier to just tell them to take two years of foreign language instead of the technology but it is not correct to say that they have to have foreign language. * NCAA requires 16 approved courses, and foreign is included- it is possible to meet the 16 without foreign language. You just have to work through the NCAA worksheet with your approved courses. It could be that a school does not offer enough of the other courses and must include foreign language. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:
