It is taking our students 3 to 3 1/2 hours to finish Sections 2 and 3 of
the English II and English III online tests. It is a little
distracting when some students are typing away on the keyboard and others
are trying to concentrate on other questions.</div>

Just opened the Item Tryout paper/pencil tests. You had better get a big
start on organizing these materials because the packaging is very
unorganized. The answer documents and tests are not in consecutive numerical
order. I've heard of this at other districts, so I know it's not
just mine that came that way.<br />

Just wondering about time frame for other EOI subject tests... Since
we were selected and are doing "try-outs" in addition to the many
operational tests, the number of extra questions and the time it took to
test caught us off guard. The new testing client requires advanced
technology, so many of our computers are not able to accommodate, and our
computer lab schedules are a delicate balance in sharing with all the other
testing in our district. </div>

So far we have just done the English Multiple choice. While this new
TA manual for spring estimates 60 minutes for each section for English 2, I
can tell you this was NOT the case. Our Eng 2 multiple choice had 80
questions including some constructed response. We started first thing in the
morning and most were barely done by lunch, some took longer... </div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;

Our special ed group (that would have previously been taking an OMAAP)
tested from 8:30am- 1:30pm with only a break. We would have let them go to
lunch after section one if we would have known how LONG section 2 was...

Not to mention, you have stressed kids close together in a lab trying
to concentrate and read, then you've got the kids next to them that are
already on the constructed response typing away on the keyboard which makes
distracting noise!!!!!!!!<br />

<div class="gmail_default" style="font-family: tahoma,sans-serif;

Anyway, any advisement on time frame from those who have already
administered any of the other subject tests would be great. </div>
