<div dir="ltr">Hi LaVonne. We have a family of 6 living with their elderly grandmother. Their bio-mother was murdered. Grandmother's health is poor & she can no longer handle her grandchildren. Naturally, he doesn't want the kids to be split up. I spoke with Pepper's Ranch in Logan County. They take children who are currently in DHS custody or foster kids. They couldn't help us because our grandmother had adopted her grandchildren. Pepper's Ranch is currently full, but I'd give them a call to see if you could get on their list. I was given the name of a group called Safe Families in OKC. SF wraps around families that have no place to turn. They have a website. Just google "Safe Families" in OKC. There's a online form to fill out and a number to call. My heart goes out to your family & I'll put them in my prayers. <p class="MsoNormal">We have a family who needs assistance with everything. They have no vehicle and are on an extremely tight budget. The grandmother is raising 3 of her grandchildren, one who is a special needs child. The granddaughter is on a ventilator.
The grandmother is unable to read and write. Our program is unable to assist them because the grandmother does not have birth certificates or the Certificates of Degrees of Indian Blood for each child. Federal guidelines require us to have these for each
child we assist. We have personally made donations but we can only do so much. I am wondering in anyone knows of any programs which would help them get the children’s birth certificates, assist them in getting additional help for the special needs child and
provide transportation to and from the doctors and other places. This family is located here in the Oklahoma City area. I’d appreciate any word of any resources available.<u></u><u></u></p>
