Okay, if that doesn't sound like a good idea, the webinars are available any other time you'd like to view them. O.C.A.P. is excited to be working with 3 schools in a pilot default prevention and management plan consultation service, which includes face-to-face meetings, a toolkit, cohort analysis, and more. Once the pilot is complete we will be offering this service at no charge to all Oklahoma schools. Stay tuned for more info. Have a great July 4th and don't forget to like us on Facebook ! First, here is a link to Complete College America's information on Oklahoma, which show we're making progress in providing access but need to see improvement on graduation rates. We know that students who don't complete their programs are more likely to default. Second, have you heard about the Department of Education's new Financial Awareness Counseling tool? This tool provides students with financial management basics, like information about their current loan debt and estimates for student loan debt levels after graduation. The tool integrates with NSLDS, which seems like a really great feature for students. To see all the counseling has to offer, you can navigate through without signing in by just clicking the continue button at the bottom of each page. If you are thinking of supplementing your current loan counseling this is definitely worth a look. What do you think? Last, if you have contemplated integrating student loan calculators on your Website, nerdwallet just released three options that can be embedded on your site at no charge. They are "Estimate Repayments," "Consolidation Calculator" and "Maximize Your Federal Borrowing." Check them out! Please feel free to share with the group tools and articles you like related to default prevention. It is a team effort!
