2013-14 verification worksheets now available

Mapping Your Future now offers 2013-14 verification worksheets to assist its Member schools and schools in Sponsored states in collecting information you need from students to complete the verification process. OCAP sponsors Oklahoma institutions, so these worksheets are available for your use at no charge.
Scott DeBoard, Training Specialist at OCAP, worked with Mapping Your Future staff recently to update the worksheets to include the 2013-14 verification requirements. Seven versions of the worksheets are available. The worksheet names reflect the Verification Tracking Flag appearing on the student's Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR), such as V1.
The worksheets are available in two different formats-a printable PDF and a fillable, printable PDF. The forms are available by logging into the Access Area on the Financial Aid Professionals page<http://mappingyourfuture.org/FAP/> and clicking on the 2013-14 Verification worksheet link in the Resources area of the homepage. Users will be asked to verify their contact information before being directed to the worksheet links. The contact information will allow Mapping Your Future to provide another service to Member and Sponsored schools, contacting those schools using the worksheets when any regulatory changes or enhancements are made to the worksheets.

New resource available to help educate borrowers about student loan servicers
Mapping Your Future now provides a Servicer Information Sheet in PDF format that answers some of the most frequently asked questions about student loan servicers found on the Learn more about student loan servicers page<http://mappingyourfuture.org/paying/loanservicers.htm>. Member schools and schools located in Sponsored states can download or link to the PDF to help educate their borrowers.
