Hi folks,

Well, we're having a regular heat wave.  When I came in this morning, 
the thermometer on my computer screen said 4 degrees.  A little later I 
looked at it and it said 3 degrees.  I almost decided to quit looking at 
it altogether, as it was headed in the wrong direction for my taste.  I 
have looked at it again lately and I feel much better.  We're at a balmy 
22 degrees now so we might accidentally break a sweat today. 

Be sure and try to attend the reception at the White House today between 
11:30 and 1:30.  The Cafeteria Crew have been working extra hard 
preparing some really wonderful treats for it.  This will be my first 
time to get to see inside the White House.  I love the way it looks on 
the outside and I'm looking forward to seeing the inside.

Don't forget to come to the downtown Christmas Parade this evening and 
shop at the local merchants that are participating in the after parade 
sales.  There will be discounts and snacks to make it worth your while 
to come out in the cold.

Our menu today includes:

        Honey breaded chicken drumettes
        Baked beans
        Breaded okra
        Corn
        Macaroni and cheese
        Pasta bar

Our fast food is:

        Hot dogs with chili

And for dessert we have Cherry Cobbler.
