  Relay For Life of Latimer County would like to invite you to join in
  the effort to combat cancer!


Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate 
survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American 
Cancer Society.
During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or 
parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at 
least one team member on the track at all times.

At these events in 4,800 communities nationwide, teams of families, 
friends and coworkers join together to
CELEBRATE the lives of those who have battled cancer, REMEMBER those 
lost and FIGHT BACK against a disease that takes too much.


    The Kick Off for the teams will be at


    Eastern Oklahoma State College in the


    East Cafeteria on April 26, 2007 from 5:30pm-6:30pm.



    The Latimer County Relay For Life Event will begin


    Friday, July 13th. (Time: TBA) and will end Saturday morning July14th.



    This is a wonderful way for Eastern employees and students to get
    involved with the community!
