[Eoscstudents] Menu for Mon. July 11

Hi folks,

Hard to believe it's practically the middle of June already!  I've got 
to get out and check our blackberries to see if we're going to have 
enough to go picking soon.  The weekend was over way too soon for me to 
get everything done that I needed to, but during a lull, it dawned on me 
that I had been hearing cardinals outside the bedroom window frequently, 
so I stopped and looked out for a few minutes.  It wasn't long before I 
noticed some activity in the cedar tree outside our bedroom and realized 
we have a nest of newly hatched baby cardinals just a few feet from our 
house!  They are such beautiful birds!  I got my bird book out and read 
up on them, and found that the male will be taking charge of this brood 
while the female will go on to make their next nest, since they have 2 
or 3 broods a year!  Sounds like they will be pretty busy.

Our menu for today includes:

            Dorito bake
            Scalloped potatoes
            Sweet peas
            Corn
            Okra
            Pasta bar

Our fast food is Sloppy Joes and French Fries.

And for dessert have a piece of Strawberry Cake.
