[Eoscstudents] Menu for Thurs. Aug. 26

Hi folks,

What a surprise to actually feel chilly last night, (and the air 
conditioner wasn't on, and I wasn't in my office where it's almost 
always cold)!  I think the temperature was about half what it's been on 
some of the hotter days!  It was certainly a welcome change from walking 
outside and feeling like you'd walked into an oven!

Somehow I forgot to mention that our 2nd in command in our Maintenance 
Department, Allen Kendrick, celebrated a birthday yesterday.  Allen, 
just because I didn't mention it, doesn't mean you didn't get older.  
Sorry guy.

For anyone interested, we'll be having a PAWS (Partners for Animal 
Welfare) meeting this evening at 7:00 at the public library.  If you 
love animals and want to help us in our mission to find homes for 
homeless dogs (and sometimes cats, and once even a couple of orphaned 
'possums), we'd be glad to have you at our meeting to tell you more 
about our organization.  This might be a good opportunity for a pre-vet 
major to get some hands on experience helping with the dogs.  Or if you 
are missing your furry friend back home, you could help with ours.  They 
love attention, and will return it in a big way!  

Our menu for today includes:
            Pork chops
            Long grain wild rice
            Carrots
            Peas
            Green beans
            Corn
            Hot rolls

And for dessert, have a delicious helping of Strawberry Shortcake.
