Hi folks,

I hope you all had a great weekend. Members of our local PAWS group went to PetSense at McAlester this weekend for an adoption event and found homes for 16 homeless dogs and cats. Any students, staff or faculty who love animals and would like to volunteer with our organization should contact myself, Rhoda Watkins at Ext. 712, Ali Martinez in the Bookstore, or Dr. Givens of our English Department. Organizations such as ours could not exist without a group of wonderful, dedicated volunteers keeping things going.

An ESGA meeting is scheduled for this evening at 6:30 in Student Center Rm. 224. All clubs and organizations should send a representative.

Wednesday afternoon, starting around 2:30, there will be a Fire Drill on campus, followed by a Tornado Drill. Everyone should be prepared to take appropriate action just as if this was a real incident. Your Building Monitors will let you know what to do and where to go.

The Latimer County Free Fair will take place this coming weekend in the Agriculture Complex (Goddard Bldg.) across the highway and just to the west of the main campus. Go see all the wonderful handcrafts, baked goods, and homegrown fruits and vegetables that local residents produce.
