The blood drive is taking place in the ballroom this morning and I was asked by OBI to inform everyone that they are running critically low with their supply. Most of their donations come from high schools and college campuses and with the weather being what it has been, it has taken a toll on their supply. Please come up to the ballroom and donate and receive your free Eastern t-shirt. We had to deal with a water break at my house, so that was no fun, especially for my husband who had to fix it! From: Lacey Aldrich [mailto:laldrich at uco.edu] Sent: Thursday, February 27, 2014 9:56 AM To: srobertson at eosc.edu Subject: UCO Student Visit If you could send an email to all your students, advisors and advisors of organizations (PLC, PTK, Native Americans Club, Housing, Trio) that would be much appreciated. I will be able to accept official transcripts that day to anyone who has applied that might need to turn them in. During this visit there are a couple things we can do that will help us to prepare your students. Official Transcripts: I would like to collect official transcripts from your students so that we can get them submitted before the April 1 scholarship deadline. This would make it easier on your students and they won't have to worry about mailing the transcripts and trying to meet our deadline. Better safe than sorry. On the Spot Admissions: I will be able to give your students a preliminary answer on their admission status within 24 hours of my visit. All I need are official sealed transcripts from each institution that you have attended. If you've only attended Connors State College, that is the only transcript I will need. Transfer Enrollment Days: Transfer Enrollment Days are March 31st, April 2nd and April 4th. TED is a special event for transfer students who have already been admitted. Students who sign up for a TED session come to the UCO campus and get everything (Student ID Card, Enrollment Central, Advisor and Enroll) done all in one day. TED sessions include priority enrollment for transfer students, meaning they get to enroll before everyone else at UCO! TED does have a limited number of spots available and has a registration fee of $25. Only students who have been admitted to UCO can sign up for a TED session. Students can register starting Monday, February 17th at www.uco.edu/fye Social Media: Follow us on Twitter @UCOTransfer and Instagram @UCOTransfer. This is a great way to find out what's going on at Central and stay up to date with important deadlines and information. Thank you for your help in advance and I can't wait to see all the students.
