Hi folks,
 
Looks like another scorching week coming at us, but it is July in Oklahoma after all.  If we hadn't had all the rain we were overly blessed with earlier in the year the grass would probably be turning brown already.  
 
The Church of Christ Singing School campers are with us once again this summer.  They will be staying all week and departing in all directions Saturday morning.  This is a wonderful opportunity to meet people from many different states, many of whom have come here every summer for a number of years to get together and hone their wonderful singing skills.  We always enjoy the opportunity to hear them practice blending their voices in song.   (Just as a heads up to our regular customers, they will be eating lunch from 11:15 to 1:00.)
 
Also, Lions Club will be having lunch here in the Cafeteria Tuesday.  During the regular school term, they are Tuesday regulars, when they come in to have lunch and hold their weekly meeting in our President's Dining Room.  
 
EOSC Birthdays for the week include Mass Communication Professor and Statesman and Yearbook Advisor, Kristen Turner, Administrative Office Technology Professor and Business Department Chair, Deborah Layton, and retired and returned Custodian Betty Eason who are all celebrating their big day today on Monday July 13.  I hope you ladies all have a wonderful day!  Let me know where the party is!
 
Lunch menus include:
 
Monday:  Taco salads, tacos or loaded nachos with cilantro lime rice, ranch beans, baked potato, fiesta corn, and brownies. 
 
Tuesday:  Meat loaf, or chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed broccoli, buttered egg noodles, fried squash, vegetable medley, hot rolls, and white cake.
 
Wednesday:  Smothered pork chops or steak fingers, with wild rice, lima beans, vegetable blend, corn nuggets, tomato basil casserole, hot rolls, and cheesecake.
 
Thursday:  Lasagna with garlic bread, or grilled chicken sandwich, peas and potatoes, vegetable blend, steamed carrots, fried zucchini, and strawberry cake.
 
Friday:  Hamburgers and hot dogs, curly fries, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, fried okra, and carrot cake. 
 
Dinner menus include:
 
Monday:  Salisbury steak, or chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn nuggets, black eyed peas, steamed rice, hot rolls, and brownies.
 
Tuesday:  BBQ night with BBQ beef, smoked sausage or chick ribs with potato cubes, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, fried okra, hot rolls, and white cake.
 
Wednesday:  Baked chicken or chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed spinach, steamed carrots, rice pilaf, marinated mushrooms, and cheesecake.
 
Thursday:  Baked ham or oven fried chicken with stuffing, yams and apples, steamed corn, bowtie pasta with browned butter, green beans, hot rolls, and strawberry cake.
 
Friday:  Loaded tamales or chili cheese burritos with red beans, Mexican rice, corn bread, guacamole and chips, green chili cheese corn, and carrot cake.
