[Eoscstudents] Book Club This Week

EOSC Students, Faculty, and Staff:

 

Be sure to come to our second EOSC Book Club meeting for the spring semester
on March 8th  from 4:30-6:00 P.M.  The book up for discussion is Evicted:
Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond.  In Desmond's
work which is a scathing critique of poverty in America, we experience
through firsthand accounts the housing crisis faced by the poor in this
country.

 

All are welcome to share their opinion and experiences regarding this topic.
Maybe you have lived through this situation which affects thousands of
people or know those that have. We want to hear what you have to say!

 

In addition to an interesting discussion and exchange of opinions, the EOSC
Library will offer food and refreshments.
