[Eoscstudents] Student Housing Reminder

Greetings students,


This is a reminder that as part of the Eastern Fall 2020 Reopening Plan, it
was decided that all classes will transition to virtual after Thanksgiving
Break this year. Please note that some academic programs such as Nursing
and Respiratory Therapy may need to continue in-person classes for
simulations, clinicals, etc. Students in those programs should follow
guidance by their instructors.



Eastern residential students are encouraged to stay home for the two weeks
following Thanksgiving Break to reduce the number of people potentially
spreading COVID-19 by traveling and returning to campus. However, campus
housing will be open and available for students who are unable to travel or
do not have access to high-speed internet at home.



*IMPORTANT!*  If you plan to return to campus housing after Thanksgiving
Break for the final two weeks of the semester, please inform the Office of
Student Services by sending an email to housing at eosc.edu by Nov. 1, 2020.

Services at 918-465-1876  if you have any additional questions.



*Fall  2020 Pre-Finals and Finals Week*

   - All courses will transition to virtual after Thanksgiving Break
   - Pre-Finals Week (Nov. 30- Dec. 3) - lectures and assignments completed
   online through Blackboard
   - Finals Week (Dec. 7-11) - final exams offered online
   - On-campus services, offices, tutoring labs and the Library will remain
   open for students during Pre-Finals Week and Finals Week
   - Residential students are encouraged to remain home, but have the
   option to return to campus housing if needed
   - Students returning to campus housing for the final two weeks of the
   semester need to inform the Office of Student Services by sending an email
   to housing at eosc.edu by Nov. 1, 2020
   - No Cafeteria meals will be provided during Finals Week (Dec. 7-11),
   however students may use their Mountaineer Bucks or cash to purchase food
   from the Cyber Café
