[Eoscstudents] 2021 Virtual Higher Ed Day - Tuesday, March 9

Good morning,

Tomorrow is Oklahoma's annual Higher Ed Day, a day of advocacy to engage
legislators and promote the value of our state's higher education system in
Oklahoma's workforce development and economic growth. The event will be
virtual this year due to COVID-19. Eastern will be participating in a
variety of ways and here's how you can also get involved!

 

1. A Facebook profile frame is now available. To add the frame to your
Facebook profile photo, follow these steps:

                - Visit www.facebook.com/profilepicframes

                - Search for and choose "2021 Virtual OK Higher Education
Day"

                - Select "Use as Profile Picture"

 

2. Eastern will share six student testimonial videos on Facebook and Twitter
on Tuesday. Please like, share, and retweet these posts on social media to
help share our students' stories. Be sure to use the hashtag "IAmOKHigherEd"
in any social media posts.

 

3. Tell your own story on social media! Share what Eastern and earning a
college degree means to you. Each time you post or share another post,
please use the hashtag "IAmOKHigherEd"

 

4. A select group of Eastern students will be participating in a live Zoom
meeting with Oklahoma legislators on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. Send them good
vibes and encouragement as they share their stories!
