Happy Heat Wave folks,<br>
<br>
I don't care what the calendar says, I think we've had a couple of
middle of summer days transplanted into our springtime. If there's
any justice, we'll get our two spring days back in the middle of summer
when we'll really appreciate them. Fortunately, according to the
weather report I saw, it should be getting much cooler tomorrow, back
in the 70's the way it ought to be. I'm ready. Our air conditioning
is either not working at all in here or is taking a long time to get
down here to my level. They say heat rises, so if it's this hot down
where I am I'm really glad I'm not tall! Since it is so hot down
here, and <u>really</u> hot up in the Coffee Shop, Susie is going to
close it up and work down here with us today. Sorry to those of you
that were planning on eating up there. As hot as it is, you
wouldn't've enjoyed it.<br>

Today is Mildred Whisenhunt's birthday, (our Assistant Food Service
Manager), so be sure and wish her a Happy Birthday when you see her.
She is like Novella's right hand over here. I don't know what we'd do
without her. Dougo said on the radio today that she's 39 and holding
so that's all we're going to say on that account. <br>

Levenia Cary sent out an email today informing everyone about the
upcoming self-defense classes in the Field House for female students,
faculty, staff and their teen daughters. These will be held on the
25th, 26th and 27th of April and could help save your life if you are
ever unfortunate enough to get in a really bad situation. <br>
