pleased to offer a 10-week REU (Research Experiences for
Undergraduates)
program where students will work collaboratively on a wide variety of
AI &
multi-agent systems problems. We will use multi-agent systems to
simulate
social environments. This experience will benefit students who are
interested
in real-world problems.<br>

Deadline for application: March 31, 2008.<br>
<br>
Eligibility: Funding is limited to <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place
w:st="on">United States</st1:place></st1:country-region> citizens or
US
permanent residents. Women and minorities are particularly encouraged
to apply.<br>
<br>
Funding: Each participant will receive<br>
- a stipend of $4,000<br>
- free housing in university dormitories<br>
- travel expenses to and from <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">San
Antonio</st1:place></st1:City><br>
- an afternoon refreshment break everyday and a social dinner each week.<br>
