Hard to believe we're actually finishing up the first week of <u>another</u>
new year. I guess, every new year now, I remember the big Y2K scare,
(and how many years back it is now), and how it turned out to be such a
fizzle. (Thank God!) Just goes to show the world is not really run by
computers, not yet anyway! (Of course, anytime they break down, it's
as if the world has come to a screeching halt!) <br>
<br>
Did anyone make any good New Year's resolutions they're sticking to or
have already broken? The Staff Council is thinking about a "Biggest
Loser" contest here at Eastern, to help give people the incentive to
lose those extra pounds and get healthier this year. We're still
trying to figure out the details, but if we get it worked out we'll let
you all know. <br>
