<P><STRONG><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod" color=#00008b>EOSC Nursing is proud to announce the 3rd Annual Student Help Initiative for Nurse Exploration (SHINE) Program. This program is designed for students entering 9-12th grade who show an interest in Nursing as a career. </FONT></STRONG></P>
<P><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod" color=darkblue><STRONG>SHINE Participants will: </STRONG></FONT></P>
<UL>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod"><FONT color=darkblue><STRONG>learn how to do basic nursing skills in our state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Labs</STRONG></FONT> </FONT>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod"><FONT color=darkblue><STRONG>learn basic medical terminology, math, anatomy and physiology as it applies to Nursing</STRONG></FONT> </FONT>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod"><FONT color=darkblue><STRONG>learn how to plan their education in order to become a Nurse</STRONG></FONT> </FONT>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod"><FONT color=darkblue><STRONG>tour local health care facilities where they get a chance to interact with Nurses at work</STRONG></FONT> </FONT>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod"><FONT color=darkblue><STRONG>have the opportunity to earn CPR certification</STRONG></FONT> </FONT>
<LI><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: palegoldenrod" color=darkblue><STRONG>receive one bonus point on their application to the EOSC Nursing Program </STRONG></FONT></LI></UL>
