Today is a historic day in our state. We'll be electing our first
female governor! Please don't forget to go cast your vote today for
Governor and various other offices that are up for grabs, along with 11
state questions. They say that in a democracy, the majority rules, but
really it's only the minority who bother to go vote who decide most of
our important issues. Be a part of that group. Let's turn that
minority into the majority and let our voices be heard. Our opinions
do matter. Even one vote can make a big difference, so make sure your
vote counts.<br>

Anyone who missed the magic show with Daniel Martin last night, missed
a great time! He performed several unbelievable and unexplainable
feats of magic, including escaping from a tightly fastened
straightjacket, right in front of the astonished faces (or even behind
the backs) of some of Eastern's students. <br>
<br>
This evening's special Homecoming activity will be the ever popular,
always hysterical, and often raunchy, Mr. Eastern contest, where we'll
get to see some of Eastern's finest examples of manhood transformed
into beautiful(?), talented(??), feminine(???) contestants for the Mr.
Eastern crown. This is guaranteed to be something you'll remember and
laugh about for years to come. (Especially if you get some good
blackmail pictures out of it!)<br>
