A little bird told me that <b>Chandra Akins,</b> (Statesman Editor,

2011 graduate, dog lover, and wife of Steve Akins, Eastern's Public

Information Specialist and the guy who's always running around with a

camera hanging around his neck), <b>is celebrating a birthday today!</b>&nbsp;

I bet there'll be a party somewhere!&nbsp; Have a great one, Chandra!<br>

Today is also the <b>FINAL WEIGH-IN FOR EASTERN'S BIGGEST LOSER

CONTEST!!!</b> Be sure and get over there and get your final results

tallied up.&nbsp; The winners will be announced this Friday, with the top

two contestants each getting a share of the winnings.&nbsp; Good luck,
