Our Gear Up group seems to have survived the stormy evening without any
difficulty, and were in for breakfast in force this morning. <br>
<br>
Our schedule for this week is slightly different than normal.
Breakfast is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., Lunch is from 11:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m., and Dinner is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Next week we'll
have a whole swarm of Upward Bound kids on campus and it will have to
be adjusted again to accommodate them.<br>
<br>
My gas gauge was getting quite low yesterday evening as I was about to
go home, telling me I had around 14 or 15 miles before I'd be walking,
so I stopped and put in $10 worth of gas to get me through till
payday. Then as I left the pump, I noticed the gauge went down to 13,
then 12 miles till "E". Talk about gas not going as far as it used to,
(or our dollars either!) I'm wondering now if I paid to have gas
sucked <u>out</u> of my tank! <br>
<br>
Happy Birthday wishes go out today to one of our kitchen staff, Christi
Hall. Hope she has a great one, even if we do make her come to work!<br>
<br>
Our computers were off to a slow start this morning, as the storms last
night had knocked them out of service temporarily, and I was worried
that I wouldn't be able to get out our menu today and it's a GOOD one!
